100 Days It Is

Life update… Hi, this is Jasp celebrating 100 days of working out five days a week, Monday to Friday, without missing a single day!

They Say “The First Step Is Always the Hardest”

For me, that hasn’t been the case. I’ve always been someone who gets excited to try new things, so the first step is actually the easiest. What I’ve realized after these 100 days of hitting the gym is that the hardest part isn’t starting—it’s showing up consistently every day. How do you keep giving 100% as you did on day one? If I had to sum it up in one word, it would be *discipline*—showing up, doing what needs to be done, and doing it the best I can, every single time.

From Impatience to Patience

About 4 or 5 years ago, when I started working at Rodwell and pursuing my degree at Paragon, I was young, energetic, and driven—still am. But back then, I was also impatient. I wasn’t the type to give up easily, but I spread myself too thin. I tried learning guitar, then quit after a few months. I dabbled in HTML coding and Thai, then moved on to video editing (which I’m still learning), and so many other things that I barely remember now.

I don’t see these as regrets, though. I believe they happened for a reason. Each one helped me understand my weaknesses a bit more. Going to the gym has taught me to be patient with myself and to trust the process—focusing on doing things right, rather than chasing quick results.

It might sound strange that just 100 days of working out could teach me all this. But maybe it’s not just the gym—it’s the sum of what I’ve learned over the last few years, all finally coming together.

Sure, I still feel like giving up when things get tough, but I’m learning to be a bit more patient and to trust the process more than I did before.

Building Self-Trust

I’ve noticed that every time I follow through on a promise I make to myself, I gain a little more trust in my own abilities. I believe these small daily achievements will eventually become stepping stones, gradually building up my confidence.

Shout-Outs To

Even though this is a personal achievement, I wouldn’t have made it without some help. Big thanks to my bros at Rodwell—Rasure, Be, and Harry—for always keeping lunch ready for me after I come back from the gym. Some days, I was drained and frustrated, and the J.Crew just knew when to give me space to recharge. Their quiet support means a lot.

And of course, special thanks to Rod, who always inspires me in so many different ways.

I don’t know how long this streak will continue, but I hope it’s for a long time. The streak goes on, and the show must go on!
