To Mom, thank you for never giving up on me. I am definitely the lucky boy to have a mother like you for allowing me to do whatever I want, and always trust in no matter what happens.
Thanks for showing me what a strong and beautiful woman looks like. Your perseverance, resilience, love, hope, and everything you’ve demonstrated have shaped me into a better man. Raising three boys alone required unbelievable strength, especially to raise such a handsome son like me, and for that, I’m forever grateful!
To Rod, if you are reading this, I just want to say thank you! Thank you for everything you have done for me. Thanks for pulling me out of difficult situations and introducing me to a whole new world. Thanks for providing me with numerous opportunities. Thank you for being there when I needed you the most. Meeting you was a turning point in my life. Without you, I would have never experienced dining at fancy restaurants, going on vacations, traveling to many countries, having the courage to think outside the box, and standing up for what I believe in. Without you, I would have lived in my own shadow, been fearful of talking to strangers, and lacked confidence in myself and everything I have and own. These experiences are incomparable and irreplaceable to me. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, bong Rod, for believing in me before I even believed in myself.
To the J.Crews, Charlie & Juno, and the people I surround myself with, thank you for all the support, joy, encouragement, smiles, and hugs. I appreciate having you guys by my side. Especially to all the bong bong, without you guys setting a good example for me, I wouldn’t know who I’m going to be. So, thank you for riding the ups and downs of life together.
Lastly but not least, as I embark on my 20s, it feels like there’s so much to learn, many mistakes to make, plenty of places to travel, and yet so little time. I’m not quite sure what the future holds, but that’s what excites me – not knowing what comes next, so that I can explore all the beautiful things out there.
Over the past 20 years, I have experienced the loss of many people I loved and trusted deeply. However, at the same time, I have also been fortunate to meet wonderful individuals who have brought joy, growth, and happiness into my life. To those who have remained by my side, I do hope that we can continue to stay connected and share the experiences that lie ahead in our futures. It’s in these shared moments that we can find strength and support.
I hope you, too, have someone to rely on, a shoulder to cry on, and someone to hug when needed – isn’t that what we all need, family?
