Day 66

I’ve been battling the flu for the last two days since coming back from Malaysia. It’s been tough to breathe, and I get tired easily, with no energy to lift weights. A lot of excuses started creeping into my mind, telling me to skip the workout just this once because I’m sick, and I don’t have to push myself.

But that’s just a feeling, man. It’s normal. It’s that part of the brain that tries to protect us from discomfort, but you’ve got to block that out.

I always remember how Kobe played through the flu and with a dislocated finger. If he could do it, why can’t I?

You just have to do it anyways!
