Starting with hip mobility exercises and some movements to improve my posture and rounded shoulders set the tone for today’s workout.
I haven’t been recording many workout videos lately, primarily because there are a lot of new faces at the gym, and I don’t want to intrude on their space.
The main focus of my workout today was footwork and single-leg exercises. I had planned to do two additional footwork drills, but the gym was quite crowded, leaving little room for running. So, I wrapped up my session with a crossover drill, moving back and forth.

Here’s today’s workout details
| Drills | Sets | Reps |
|---|---|---|
| Open hips, mobility exercises, and rounded shoulder stretch | ||
| Crossover hockey stop | 3 | 10 |
| Front-load forward walking lunge | 3 | 8 |
| ISO step down touching the toe | 3 | 6 |
| ISO step down touching the heel | 3 | 6 |
| Single box squat | 3 | 10 |

I finished the day with my favorite cooldown routine. This is the time I take to praise myself for the incredible work I’ve done, a time to slow down and let the sweat flow, while a YouTube coach guides me through the cooldown. I always watch his videos because, honestly, I can’t remember a single cooldown exercise otherwise. Hearing him say, “Good job today, guys,” is the perfect way to end my workout.
