Today marked my first day at the gym after my arm broke last month. I have gone to work out since the beginning of the year, and so far, I have done a pretty good job of showing up and staying consistent with the plan; I only had a two-month break, once during my final exam and another when my arm was broken.
At first, my goal of getting to the gym was to get in shape and gain muscle and weight. Therefore, my main priority was doing the heavyweight, focusing on specific muscles to hit the target I had aimed. However, after I returned to playing frisbee, my focus on the training schedule shifted; instead of just doing the chest exercises, I started to focus on Ploymetric, Learning how to sprint, single foot jumping, and more exercises that fit the athletes.
