Not Really A Good Start

I almost decided not to go for a run this morning. My right hand was sore after hucking too many discs on Sunday. But I thought to myself, ‘I only have three days of running a week; if I skip this one, there will be only two.’ So I had to do it anyway—no excuses.

Today was a Speed Run (Intervals). I was supposed to run at a 5K pace for 1 minute and then rest for 1 minute. However, I could only do 3 reps because I had a bit of a stomach emergency and had to finish early. I’m not sure if I could have done all 8 reps—it was really hard. But that’s okay. As long as I show up, next week I’ll do better.
