I’ve learned from my mistakes—never missing a workout because of traveling again!
A few days ago, I went to Malaysia with Rodwell students on a school trip to Kuala Lumpur. For some reason, Kuala Lumpur always feels like home to me, right next to Cambodia. I’m not sure why, but there’s something about it.
The 3-night, 4-day trip was, in short, “awesome.” It was amazing to see some students experience their first flight ever, and for Malaysia to be their first destination. It brought me back to the good old days when Rod, Jimmy, and I first traveled to Malaysia together. Hard to believe that was three years ago already.
Reflecting on how I missed my workouts during my trip to Japan, I made sure this time to find at least 20 minutes for a light, full-body workout without equipment. Even though it wasn’t as intense as my usual gym sessions, I believe it’s the consistency and effort that count.
It wasn’t easy—especially when you’re on a trip leading students, constantly walking, posting on social media, and taking videos. While everyone else was napping during break time, I decided to squeeze in a workout. It’s not easy, but that’s what gives you an edge.
