This week has been mostly focused on upper body workouts—not because I’m avoiding leg day, which I actually love (as much as I love Gucci, honestly). But my legs just couldn’t take the strain. I’ve been dealing with shin splints for a while now, and they still haven’t fully healed.
So, I’ve had to adjust. Right now, I’m sticking to exercises I found on YouTube that target rehab and strengthening. There are three phases: Exercises, Rehab, and Strengthening. I’m still in the first phase, focusing on rehab to give my legs the proper recovery time they need.
As frustrating as it is, but I think is the best way forward. Once I get through this and move on to the strengthening phase, I’ll be ready to hit leg day full force again.
